When the 222's were operating and paired up to Kettering and divided, what was the procedure? For instance the 1M56 17.01 St Pancras to Corby / Sheffield split at Kettering, Corby first then Sheffield, would it arrive into Kettering, keep the doors locked, divide then open the doors, or is open the doors to let people off, close the doors, uncouple, re-open the doors then set off at booked time?
