Definitely.

Didcot Parkway, my local station at Hadddenham & Thame Parkway, or Oxford Parkway depending on where in the City of Oxford you are.

The 165s have air conditioning.

I do not recall it but rather that when the 168's appeared they were much more pleasant on a hot day.

The last I knew and experienced was that the 165s do not have air conditioning.
They have the original heaters at floor level and then at the major refurb (when 2+2 seating in parts went in), a separate air cooling system was added next to the door mechanisms.

Yes, it was about ten years ago.

The last I knew and experienced was that the 165s do not have air conditioning.

If you're being picky about the technical meaning of air conditioning (i.e. that it injects air at a specified temperature and humidity) then no train has it, they all have separate heating and cooling systems. Railway aircon always puts in cold air at the roof level and floor level radiators are used to heat the air.

The 165 setup is really very good - never known it fail and the temperature is bang on. Wish they'd fit it to the remaining 158s!

• GRS team re-delivered eleven units on time in a row during 2017

• Production commenced on 23/01/16 and is expected to complete on 14/09/19
• First three units were subjected to C6 heavy maintenance overhaul only
• Units four to eights were re-delivered with C6 and PRM modifications installed successfully
• Thereafter, we accommodated 2-unit holding to facilitate faster throughput of the fleet units for both customer and end-user. This resulted in dual production lines installing C6 and PRM on certain units, and C6, PRM and Air-ccoling on other units
• In Sept 2017, we re-delivered the very first C6, PRM and Air-cooling modified unit of 165110
• For the temperature record-high summer of 2018, we re-delivered 19 cars that had air-cooling installed to assist with passenger comfort

No train in the UK has proper aircon. All of them inject cold air at ceiling level and heat it via floor level radiators.

Most, perhaps, but not all. Voyagers, for instance, have two HVAC units in the ceiling of each vehicle which heat and cool the air.
