I recently used a Cheshire Day Rover. I fully recommend them as I went to Manchester, Liverpool, Crewe and Stoke. Also I was impressed with the electrification work on chat moss. soon I will do an all electric journey on that ticket, using a 323, 350, 319 and a 390.

Good man. I was fortunate to make my one and only official RailUK meet using this ticket on 23rd February this year and we all had a most enjoyable day. I even entered fully into the spirit of things by being left at Liverpool South Parkway....he wouldn't let it lie....:D

Great stuff mate. I'll have to look at that ticket. I've not spent a day riding around the north west for a good long while. Bien viajes.

Newton-le-Willows-Warrington side has been electrified for years, the other two sides are 'phase two' and scheduled for completion sometime around mid to late 2014, with electric services starting in the December (assuming it's on time and they have some electric trains to use).
