Firstly regarding the Czech One ticket, how far along the line from Cheb towards Marktredwitz & Nuremburg valid? Presumably it is valid on all carriers up to and including the final station in Czech?

Secondly, is there a regional or zonal ticket which covers the Nuremburg area and goes as far as (or some way towards) Marktredwitz?

If the answer to the second question is yes, I am wondering if it may be an option to get a 'MPS Länderbahn jednosměrná' ticket (or other tickets) to bridge the gap between these tickets.

If there is no split ticket option to bring the price down, it looks like it may actually be cheaper to be "doubly valid" (buying from an origin prior to Cheb) for part of the journey.

If anyone can answer any of the above, or has any suggestions, that would be interesting to hear; many thanks in advance :)

Also, is Cheb itself worth visiting, or is Františkovy Lázně a better place to visit, for a walk around?

The Bavaria Lander ticket (Bayern Ticket) is €27 valid after 9am Mon-Fri, only worth considering if you won't use other transport in Germany enough in the same month for the €49 Deutschland Ticket to be worth buying.

Having done that line again some 2 weeks ago in my current InterRail:
@1: sorry, dk. In fact I kind of think there is no actual station on the CZ side, if they accept it till border tariff point I dk either. Would expect yes, as the CD/CZ is most often very sticking to and even knowledgeable about those rules. But the germans have made it near impossible to get tickets just from/to borderpoints from their side.
@2. NOt, there is the quite big VGN Verbund around N-ürnberg, but does not reach Marktr. There is of course the Bayern ticket, but for just a single likely not cost-effective.
PS; in general CD offers quite cheap advance (fixed day/train) bookings for and/or via Cheb- I recall around 9,99€ for toward N. LIkely if you fit into the best buy. But you should have been more precise in presenting what your plans are in fact.
Note that from N the train is3 of those tilting diesel sets (I believe) but only 1 of the 3 runs to Cheb.
Cheb is not overly interesting but a kind of 13 in a dozen small CZ towns. It was once a real railwaytown-a high% of its people worked for the trains. FL must be quite small but of course as it has the bathes, probably more spruced up for casual visitors.

Network tickets should be valid up to the border tariff points.

It's not more difficult than previously, but different: you can buy tickets with 100% discount from or until the border.

The Bayern-Boehmen ticket covers both Bavaria and a large chunk of Bohemia.

Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket

It's also possible to buy a similar ticket on the Czech side which is cheaper but isn't available on line and doesn't quite get to Nuremburg

Sorry that's rather difficult to post in it's entirety.
