Channel Four seeks Rail Complainers

Very true, life experience teaches you these things. Case in point;

Two hapless bus photographers went to the Daily Mail to complain because bus drivers were making rude hand signals and called them perverts for taking photographs of buses which they were driving. The Daily Mail ran the story with a headline more or less calling them "Bus 'perverts'." So now they have gone down in history with that stigma attached to them.

Complaining to the media about this sort of thing carries the risk, as you say, of having the p*ss taken out of you by the media and its audience.

I mean, tonight alone, Ch4 has gone from a fantastic programme about dodgy, tax-avoiding, thieving, racist, non-seatbelt wearing, rat-shooting, kid-neglecting 'scrappers' to a rather obvious and cliched, cost-about-ten-pence-to-make, documentary on Brits getting f**ked in Kavos....

I begin to wonder if Channel 4 actually wants to make everyone leave the UK. When you watch a lot of their shows, it is really quite depressing and far from entertaining.

It's also rather too Daily Mail for my liking now, seeking to outrage people - the TV equivalent of link baiting (hoping people will take to Twitter to comment instead).

And I speak as someone who has watched Ch4 on and off since it started. Yes, even then it had controversial content but I don't recall anything that glorified bad things like we see now.

The key is to chose the media carefully, I would reckon the Guardian would be a better bet with such things...

We never seem to get a programme about the tactics and operations of crap TV production companies. Companies like Dragonfly are part of a problem in this country.
