I am constantly amazed (and delighted, at the scope and scale of 'amateur' (?!) imagination and expertise shared and commented upon on the Forum- this thread is a fine example. Sadly, for me, they often fail to address the sizeable 'block' that our elected representatives can be. I admire the 'officials' who seek to advise them; 'A wise (or bold?) decision, Minister'.
Hopefully there are ways in to influence Ministers- they, as we, are busy and have the good of the people in mind. Have the honourable and right honourable members for Euston, Old Oak, Curzon Street, etc have the influence that members for Buckingham and Bexhill & Battle have had hitherto?
