Hi guys,

It is with great regret that I have to announce that from 7pm this evening due to unforeseen problems at home, BVE Routes & Trains will be closing down permanently. All Work in Progress projects will be cancelled, including the Jubilee Line, and will not be released. Dan Lewis and Chris Hynds are also having problems and need to concentrate on other issues, so neither will be continuing with the Jubilee. Routes that are currently available will also regrettably, be withdrawn.

I apologise for any upset this may cause, but I’m afraid there is no avoiding my current situation

The website will close, and a redirection page will remain up for a while.

Thank you for your support over the past couple of years.

I doubt the Jubilee will be out tomorrow. I just think the site will re-open as nothing has been deleted, for example http://www.bveroutes-trains.co.uk/trains. Also nothing is mentioned on the forum. I have to say though that Richard has found a great way to trick visitors into not viewing his website anymore...

Is there any chance that (in the far, distant) future, the site may be reborn:?: With new ideas etc?

As some of you appeared to have twigged, I may as well spill the beans.
I decided to trick you all for April Fools and spoke to Chris, Dan and Kelvin to make sure they were OK about it. Worked a treat by the looks of it. The old dodderers of BVE among you (like Damon and Tom) were the first to twig...so well done to them!

The site will be back shortly when I get round to it.

Some speculation has included that the Jubilee will be released. Let me assure you that this is not the case, and what Chris said yesterday still stands.

Hi All,

Not the ideal topic for my first post on here but here goes...

For those of you who haven't figured it out, I am the 3rd Author of this JLE route (my section is the Westminster - North Greenwich part).

Now, life has changed somewhat since we predicted an Easter release date, not least as I am currently in training to be a train operator on London Underground, which means I literally have no time at present to touch this route. I am about to start on my stock training, which is quite hard and lasts for 4 weeks, which means that I will not be able to even touch my part until late April at the earliest.

Given peoples tendencies to take any of our expected release dates as set in stone, I am going to make no guesses as to when it will be released, only that it will be completed eventually, and only then when all 3 of us are happy with it.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... but career comes first!

Chris

There will be some new additions to the Photography section this week though, as I have a few trips planned ;)

Knew it after someone told me that there is April Fool Trick. But at the moment I was visiting before I knew it was trick, I thought it was really down.
