Buses Displaying Condolence Messages

A day trip to Manchester today and noted a number of buses displaying messages on their destination blinds in memory of the queen:

I noticed that Arriva Derby have done a similar thing.

Stagecoach North East as well (unsure of Arriva)

First in Slough and Go Ahead in Oxford were two I saw during the past week.

Much the same with Stagecoach East, at least with their Bedford depot. I have to say that East do often have custom messages displayed during major events, with recent examples being at Christmas and during the Platinum Jubilee.

A number of Transdev Blazefield vehicles have displays flipping to "Thank you Ma'am"

Arriva buses in West Yorkshire are currently showing an "RIP Queen Elizabeth II" message.

Arriva Derby 8 and 8a have similar displays, as described in an earlier post, alternating between the Queen message and the destination. It won't affect local people, but I expect visitors would rather have the destination shown all the time. (You don't have long to view the destination on a moving bus to know whether to stick your hand out to stop it or not.) They did something similar a couple of years ago when Derby County had an important match.

I don't know which company this is:

but it seems rather unfortunate!
