Most of the Merseytravel Christmas Day routes are unique to the day.
12A, as you say is similar to Arrivas 12/13 services but extends to Huyton when the core services don't.
21A runs from Liverpool One (other days the Kirkby services start from Queens Square) and plods around more of the estates in Kirkby.
62A, as you said.
201 doesn't serve Queens Square normally, it only runs to/from Royal Liverpool Hopsital.

They’re the former routes from the early 00’s/late 90’s that have never changed

12A is the former Liverbus/MTL/Arriva 212
21A is the former MTL/GTL 1.
62A is the former MTL/GTL 92

H1 is the former 118
H2/3 is former 194/195

Keighley Bus run a Keighley – Airedale Hospital service (Route 66) on Boxing Day. Normally the route is covered by other services, with the 66 stopping on the main road.

A couple of the Merseyside Christmas Day routes are unique to the day

The H1 on the Wirral

The 62A in Liverpool (the normal 62 operated by Arriva is different, only the section between Fazakerley Hospital at Bootle is common)

The 12A in Liverpool (different from the normal Arriva 12 as that doesn't serve Huyton)

HTH
Also H2/H3 in St Helens on Christmas Day and 201 goes Queen Square on Christmas Day

Sure Stagecoach also run a 1 day a year service in Southport on Christmas day

Never understood
1, why it got remembered from 118 the route number it had for 30 plus years

2, why it's a viable route on Christmas Day but not the other 364 days, surely the 413, 414 or 423 would be a more viable option since they still exist

East Coast Buses run the 107 from Dunbar to Edinburgh as an all stopper on Christmas Day only. The 107 ordinarily runs as a dead mileage killer from Dunbar to Musselburgh so may not fit the criteria here.

Otherwise, there is the H107 and H124 which operate in the wee small hours of new years day from Edinburgh to Dunbar and North Berwick respectively.

Many years ago I'm pretty sure Crosville ran a one day a year service from Denbigh to a pub up on the moors for sheepdog trials!

There may also have been a service in even more deeply rural Wales for an annual cattle sale (possibly Dinas Mawddwy area?).
