Bus Revenue Distribution - System One Manchester

Hello I'm looking to get a bit of an insight into how revenue is distributed for System One ticketing in Manchester.

I buy the product when catching High Peak/Bowers Coaches/Centrebus and have always wondered how much they actually get from my use of the Daysaver Bus product on their services.

Recently they have introduced a 50% discount for Stockport College students on the service which for the many college passengers on the 0751 service from Poynton looks like an obvious way to get themselves more revenue from an £8.50 Child Weekly ticket than they would from a £14.90 Student & Young Person Bus Saver.

As I understand it, there's a fixed split between bus and train allocation from tickets valid on both. Apart from that it goes to operators based on how many times they press the relevant button on their ticket machine to show how many times the tickets are used on their services (subject to occasional audits from Inspectors).
