Hello, guys

Please forgive me for not good english sentence.

the first question is Does Bus operator belong to Government?

the second question is does government pay bus hybrid environment?

the three question is does bus not belong government and belong to head office of any private operator?

Thank you,

Bus operators are private companies, so no they're not owned by the government.

Via the Green Bus Fund, the Government does pay for some of the cost of new hybrid vehicles - usually a % of the difference to a conventional diesel vehicle.

Unless the vehicles are owned by councils or PTEs etc, then they will belong to whichever company operates them, or to a leasing company.

If they really wanted to, I'm sure Stagecoach could find the money to buy First group out - they have significant cash facilities available.

However, there is the Office of Fair Trading (OfT) and Competition Commission (CC) who would take a dim view of such a buyout and block the aquisition.
