broad gauge tickets

Can anyone advise me what form the earliest tickets took that were issued
on the Broad Gauge, in particular on the Bristol and Exeter? Were they paper
with the details written on for each individual passenger or were they printed
en bloc for each destination?

Edmondson card tickets date from the early 1840s, so about 5 years after the GWR opened, and I don't recall reading about earlier pre printed tickets, so I'd assume handwritten, but a quick search online hasn't come up trumps. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmondson_railway_ticket
