My late train arrived into Parkway at 12:50. And in the platform next to us, there was a train with Virgin and Intercity Colours and MK1 Carriages... Anybody any idea what it is etc?? Just seen it in Anglia Colours as well with a Class 47 at the front

I was going to bash it from Reading (where it was supposed to start from) to Didcot, but they caped the Didcot stop and it started very late from Paddington so it was a no no.

Bristol Parkway was chaos due to the Rugby in Cardiff - glad I didn't stay too long.

I was there to pick someone up at 14.25 and there didn't seem to be much going on, just the ticket office was closed and the barriers were open. I thought it was something to do with football, as I think Bristol was playing in London.

That was the 1Z31 out of Parkway glad we got on it as it was originally supposed to pass! nice thrash though, loved that machine all the way!
