I'm presently sat on a Southern "Brighton Express" of the sort that operated traditionally before GatEx started running through. A half hourly GatEx is running just to Gatwick.
This, judging by how busy the train was both ways, is quite popular.
Why is this pattern operating today? Is it to do with the derailment?
