Next Monday the 14th April the BREL International Rake will be withdrawn from service by Iarnrod Eireann (Irish Rail). Of the 10 coaches built only 9 ever entered service with I.E., the BFO being used as a source of spares ad is currently in a poor condition in Inchicore works. Currently 7 coaches remain in service with 3 coaches stopped with long term defects.

The coaches will be placed into secure storage for the next few months pending a decision on their future. Would any preservation groups be interested in the purchase of these unique and interesting vehicles?

Iarnrod Eireann's association with the experimental BREL International train came to a partial end today with the disposal of 5 vehicles for further non railway use in the UK and Ireland.

MKIII International Coaches 6204, 6206 & 6207 which were stored in North Wall Yard were removed off Iarnrod Eireann property today. They are bound for Loughborough (not the GCR) in the UK for non-railway use. Also 6203 & 6205 have been sold to an company in Naas and these were also moved tonight.

It's good to see at least some examples of these unique experimental trains seeing further use, albeit not in railway use.

Vehicles 6201, 6401 and 6208 remain at North Wall.
6202 remains at Inchicore.

So where exactly are they going in Loughborough? Brush? If anyone knows where and when they'll get here, I could endeavor to take some pictures... (Assuming they are visible from a public place)

Yes, but not mk3s that have 5'3" gauge bogies, and a different electrical system to standard British loco-hauled mk3s. Even if there was an excess 4' 8 1⁄2" bogies, it's a more complex issue that just changing the bogies.
