Break of journey

Hi all, I'm looking at travelling from Melton Mowbray to Birmingham New Street on an off peak day return ticket and I was wondering if I would be OK to get off at Nuneaton on the way back for an hour or two and then resume my journey to Melton. I think from what I understand of the break of journey condition on the ticket that this would be OK but wanted to check with someone who understands it better. Cheers for any help anyone can give :D

Yes that's fine. Break of journey is, in principle, permitted on all Off-Peak and other walk-up tickets. The only exception is if the particular fare prohibits it in the text of the restriction code. It doesn't in this case - see nre.co.uk/BX to read it in full.

Thanks, thought I'd be OK but good to check with someone more knowledgeable :D
