TBH @Bromley boy all I want to do is get the debate back on track... I only ever mentioned Eire/ NI in relation to a post about a grilling Jacob Rees-Mogg gave one of the EU negotiators regarding "bending the rules"

THE FACT THAT YOU CONTINUE TO TELL ME IT ISN'T BULLYING DOESN'T ALTER THE FACTS... IF YOU REFUSE TO LET SOMETHING DROP AFTER REPEATED REQUESTS TO DO SO IS BULLYING.

If you don't believe me look up the word in a damn dictionary!

I recommend you look at it first, but not before taking a deep breath and preparing yourself to be proven incorrect in this thread again. Please don’t come back in all caps or bold again though.

oh dear... I did... https://www.dictionary.com/browse/bullying?s=t

noun, plural bul·lies.
  1. a blustering, quarrelsome, overbearing person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people.
verb (used with object), bul·lied, bul·ly·ing.
  1. to act the bully toward; intimidate; domineer.
verb (used without object), bul·lied, bul·ly·ing.
to be loudly arrogant and overbearing

on the basis that I have asked for my apologies to be accepted and some... yourself included... refuse to let the matter drop... that is bullying... and now you're even trying to bully me about whether I'm being bullied or not!

I will not tolerate any further debate on the matter and I give my final warning to anyone that wishes to continue with their bullying attitudes.... any further posts directed towards me on the matter will simply be reported to the moderators...

oh and one final point do not tell me whether I can use bold or capitals for emphasis... you are not a moderator and you have no right to tell me how I post! {but then again being a bully you think you do have that right!}

It turns out the aide BOJO had an affair with was a victim of black cab rapist John Worboys.

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...victim-of-sex-offender-john-worboys-tvr7jph8c

The former Conservative Party aide who has been romantically linked with Boris Johnson can be revealed as one of the youngest victims of John Worboys, the serial sex attacker.

Carrie Symonds was 19 when Worboys, a taxi driver who preyed on late-night passengers, spotted her waiting for a night bus in London in 2007. He pulled over, said he did not like to see young women on their own and offered her a ride even though she had only £5, lying that he lived in the same area as her. Hey

I would not have put you down as a small or weak person and am surprised you feel that way.

All I and others have done is simply responded to your posts either explaining a correction or a difference of opinion. You will find that if you quote people’s posts and reply to them, then there’s a good chance they will reply to you.

I think you’ve made yourself look silly and don’t know how to correct it, and now feel a bit fragile.

If you wish for specific people not to respond to your posts, you can start by not responding to them directly in quotes - especially if you’re going to call them names. Alternatively, you might want to leave the thread altogether, ignore them in your head, or place the user on your Ignore list feature on the forum (I have a few on mine!). As a last resort you may want to contact the moderators who can judge whether anything has breached the forum rules.

I haven’t badgered or intimidated you - in fact I’ve been the opposite, rather dismissive - and if you feel that my responses offering correction to factual inaccuracies, or explaining a difference of opinion are bullying, then I feel sorry for you. This is a current affairs topic and while I find that frequently people disagree with me or even correct my facts on these issues I’ve never felt bullied.

As a point of netiquette - and let me be helpful here - ALL CAPS ARE USUALLY TAKEN TO MEAN THE EQUIVALENT OF SHOUTING on the internet. I don’t recommend using them unless it’s a situation where you’d actually be shouting if talking to someone face to face.

Nobody is bullying you and I think you really ought to take a really long deep breath.

How does he keep shagging so many people?

Which are you referring to?

I daresay Worboys gets some action whenever he drops the soap. Johnson gets his through being a cad and a bounder of the highest order! :D

It’s impossible to dislike the bloke, whatever you think of his politics.

A mate sent me a meme saying "Even Hitler had a girlfriend. Hitler is more attractive to women than you". Tasteless but it made me laugh. Same applies with BoJo. Ha ha.

I think in the case of both Hitler and BoJo there's proof that power is an amazing aphodisiac... I'm surprised that BoJo hasn't been the victim of kiss and tell....

I’ve been on the receiving end of that one!

Two of Hitler’s girlfriends ended up committing suicide, which speaks volumes.

It looks like we have run out of matters to discuss that relate directly to the subject that this thread is meant to be discussing.

I see that there are some concerns above relating to the conduct of some members. To be clear, our forum rules state that if you have any concerns please use the report button.

Please do not discuss such concerns on forum threads

If anyone wishes to get into personal conversations this can be done using that facility rather than on this thread.

And if you spot anyone going off topic, you can either ignore it or you can create a new thread with an appropriate title to discuss the new topic. Then use the report button to alert us.

It is not practicable for us to split posts from one thread into another once there have been numerous off topic posts, as this would be extremely time consuming.

If anyone wishes to contribute on the matter of Boris Johnson please contact us directly and we will consider reopening this thread or we may suggest creating a new thread as appropriate.

Many thanks for your understanding.
