Books on coaching stock

During the week I purchased a Rail Guide and Traction Recognition books by Colin Marsden. Are there any books similar to Traction Recognition that deal with coaching stock?

Yes - although not sure if they are current.

Somewhere I have a set of four 'recognition' books by Colin Marsden - locomotives, DMUs, EMUs and coaching stock dating from the early / mid 80s. A search on 'Colin Marsden Recognition' (not using quote marks) brought up a few sellers of second hand examples, or you could search under Colin Marsden on online booksellers.

(It also shows that there are further volumes, e.g. departmental vehicles, which I obviously didn't get in the 80s.)

Not sure there's quite enough coaching stock around now to justify a separate volume, though...

If you're looking for something a bit more in depth, the HMRS have published a number of books (more here) including a fairly definitive history of the BR Mk 1 carriage range

Glad you picked up something following your request in another post. Not similar, but very useful are some of the books by Ashley Butlin - e.g. BR Coaching Stock which I think come in 1 or 2 volumes (old and current) which is in directory format
