Does anyone have any idea when the above is likely to open. Wikipedia gives 2026 but seems not very up to date and the project’s own site is even less informative. I’m taking the year with a pinch of salt at the moment…

Most often urbanrail.net has best/accurate info on these things-news-recent/upcoming openings. The editor also produces small books/atlases about urban rail systems.
But especially for ITaly these seem to remain a kind of gamble and ever uncertain.
Myself have visited as prime interest all tram systems in at least western EURope-except the very latest opening in Copenhagen. So it would be nice if Bologna could also be done with a planned InterRail late spring/early summer.
