Blackpool Transport service changes

I've heard rumours that there could be changes to several Blackpool Transport routes, including route 16, does anyone have any news about this.

I've looked on Blackpool Transport's website and there's no mention of the changes, but have heard drivers saying there will be changes soon.

Any information would be much appreciated.

It's all detailed here; http://www.blackpooltransport.com/pdf/service-change.pdf. Some interesting changes there, including roads that have been previously served regaining service.

The old 14 corridor (now 17) from Blackpool Town Centre to St Annes via Spen Corner, Common Edge, Borough Boundary, etc seems to be the worst affected I'd say. The 14 used to be every 20 minutes and had a late evening service on that corridor, now it seems the 17 will be hourly. I'm not sure extending the 10 to St Annes, which has a winding route, will cover the gap.

Also, I read with interest about the heritage buses that Catch22 are using on the resurrected 21 service they're operating this summer.

Further to the post made by burns20, he listed a VOSA variation for service 2/2C between Cleveleys Bus Station and Lytham Square, to my knowledge, service 2C remains with the same route from Blackpool Town Centre to Knott End and service 2 merged into service 12/13, with no service between Cleveleys and Lytham, does this mean a variation isn't mandatory.
