Was this character the only one who appeared first in The Topper, then later in The Dandy?

According to Wikipedia, she continued when The Topper was combined with The Beezer as The Beezer and Topper (what imagination they show). When The Beezer and Topper folded, Beryl was the only character to go straight on to The Dandy; another did a short while later and others were later reworked.
Sorry to go off on a tangent does anyone remember the railway carriage used on railtours in the 80's-90's called Beryl.

Yes it was from memory a set rake of mk1 coaches used as you mention on railtour duties, It was referred to as Beryl, Cheryl & Co each vehicle carried it own name.
