I'm parsing some timetable data and there is a field called "Bank holiday excluded" (BHX), which has the following values:

BHX
X Does not run on specified Bank Holiday Mondays.
E Does not run on specified Edinburgh Holiday dates (no longer used).
G Does not run on specified Glasgow Holiday dates.

The rail replacement bus services between Ystrad Mynach and Blackwood have the field listed as X, i.e. they do not run on bank holidays. However, train operator websites still show these services running on the next coming bank holiday (2022-05-02). I've tried some other bank holidays, like 2022-06-02 and 2022-06-03, and the services still show.

Does this field now have no effect then?

Im pretty sure all it did was generate the BHX symbol in the extracted GBTT document. Otherwise it has no impact on schedule dating. Bank Holidays amended timetables are treated more like an STP-type ‘special service’ these days anyway.
