Bachmann XC Voyager 4-car

New to the modelling scene bought this today.

I can't connect the coaches is there something you have to buy in addition to connect them like some piece of plastic or what?

Hi, the voyager comes with plastic connector couplers. Did you buy the model new or second hand?

i I bought it new from Ford the engine house west sussex

It does have plastic bits but they don't connect

Did they come separately in ther box?

I picked the same model up a few months ago for a bargain price at Ian Allen in Manchester It's currently in bits, mid-way through DCC conversion, fitment of Express models head/tail lights and cabin lights.

There should be a small clear plastic bag taped to the bottom of one of the clear plastic holders that one of the 4 carriages came in. The bag should contain the plastic couplings that look like this:
