It's the one depot Avanti have never recruited for in terms of qualified. Someone else pointed out too many internals wanting to transfer in for the better route card.

It’s done on computer and a high pass mark and used in overall application if you score similar to another candidate on interview etc

Were there quite a few questions? And were there a few of you doing it on the day? I assume smart attire?

40/45 questions in 30 minutes, multiple choice with a bit of everything. Nothing too taxing overall, pass mark was 85%.

Shirt should be fine, no need for full suit.

Just consider carefully the roster, long runs of days on, massive movement from spare etc. I now work with a guy who has recently left Euston and doesn’t say great things about it - poor/acrimonious industrial relations etc. Also a couple of guys at my last operator joined Euston and promptly returned. No smoke without fire.

That said clearly it’s a big step up in pay and work compared to where I believe you currently are!

I should have said, I did mine during Covid on Teams so things may have changed since. There were 4-5 others IIRC.

As said above, have a look at the roster and T&Cs. I declined an offer after reading some things on here and seeing the roster…

Well I applied for Euston where there’s been various campaigns, I think this might be from the January posting.
