Something I've always wondered about but never been able to find an answer on... Is there a reason that Pendolinos when announcing the calling pattern don't say the destination at the end of the list? It always ends at e.g. Carlisle instead of finishing with e.g. "and Glasgow Central". It's the only train in the country I've seen do this, and was wondering if there was a specific reason why? To me it always ends up sounding like it's been awkwardly cut off mid sentence. Also are there any other examples of this announcement pattern elsewhere I haven't seen?
