The Asset Inspection Train looked like it was being prepared to be moved somewhere earlier today. Pictured in Northfields Depot.

I also noted that the 1973 stock cars damaged in the 7/7 bombing were removed from the depot yesterday too.

Is there an explanation as to why the Asset Inspection Train is being scrapped?

I thought they too were scrapped after the attack?

Unused for the purpose it was converted for, including the addition of two ‘67 Stock cars in the middle to alleviate the braking issues.

Two cars from 7/7 remained until yesterday

Is this clear-out in relation to the new Siemens stock, or something else?

They probably kept them for spare parts
