Has anyone got a copy of the roster and diagrams please? Also if anyone knows is there an AM/PM link available and are they available straight away?

Any other information that you think would be helpful would also be appreciated. Thank you

Hi
1 NIGHT/PM link (for Fri/Sat night service)
1 instructor link
Links 1,2,3 and 4 consist of various RD/shift patterns of early, mids and lates.
All links have the same work/routes so seniority doesn't really play a part
The Night link has a waiting list.
Most vacancies will be in links 2 and 3
34 hour week, Sundays inside and bank holidays classed as a normal day.
All diagrams before 5am are no more than 8hrs

34 days annual leave consisting of..
16 days block leave (1 week spring, 2 week summer, 1 week winter) 16 days ad-hoc and 2 days for Xmas/boxing day
Block leave can be moved and summer leave split as long as space is available
5 car units, no unit prep or coupling at NXG depot
No RDW enhancement

Intense metro work, station every 1-2 minutes on the core route between Surrey Quays - Dalston Jnc.

Route intensity is the only real downside, the location of the depot can be a pain to get to if driving due to heavy traffic in the area.
However....
Very favourable T&C's, salary at the top end of the scale
Very Good union, Very good resource managers based at the depot, Most DM's are very good

Message me if these anything else you'd like to know

3rd time this has been advertised in under 6 months

NXG typically is the feeder depot of LO due to its intensity/location. Absolutely nothing wrong with the company though for the reasons mentioned by chad66 specifically around t&cs, pay, management and overall mood. Alot of drivers will do the time and then put in a lateral for one of the other depots as soon as is practically possible.

As Chad66 said also definitely the most awkward one to get to commuting wise unless you live on top of the depot or in the south east. A lot of drivers can shave 30 minutes plus off of their commute by moving elsewhere even if distance wise they are closer to NXG.

For some perspective currently between Chingford, Watford and Euston there are over 120 drivers waiting to transfer there cumulatively. The vast majority of these are from NXG. Lots of those lateral transfers are being granted now as people retire. Currently there are 0 internal transfers for NXG (and to be fair pretty much has always been that way) so those gaps have to be filled by external trainees and qualifieds.

I expect the same ad to be coming up quite a bit in the next couple of years. The exodus is very much internal.

No problem at all

Forgot to mention the free oyster card for yourself and a nominee for all tfl services and free travel on Arriva's other services, Chiltern, Cross country and grand central
The oyster card is very handy if you live anywhere in and around London

Very good perk to have. I live just on the outskirts of london in Essex so would be handy for sure

And I'm sure there are plenty of nearby Southeastern drivers who would jump at the role!
