Another Javelin derailed at Ramsgate yesterday. This resulted in cancellations and short forming.

Today there has been a reduced service of about 1 train per hour between Ramsgate and Margate to allow engineering work to be carried out. That is due to be completed around now. Accessible buses have replaced cancelled trains

Southeastern rail services in Kent have been disrupted after a Javelin train derailed at a depot.

The incident happened at Ramsgate - the same depot where another train left the track two years ago.

And just after 395008 returns from repairs caused by an overrun incident near the same depot.

Luckily this one doesn't look as though it'll be out of service for two years as well!

Isn't that the same siding as last time?
That hit the buffers of a headshunt on the other side of the layout at the Minster end. There have been derailments on traps and buffer run-throughs at the Margate end before, including one in the headshunt in Mk 1 days that ended up in the street below.
