Yes meant the Embraer 190. Club Europe. Same seats but sectioned off with curtain.

Except there isn't a lounge at City where the E190s fly from. You do get nicer food on board though.

The E190s are lovely planes. I did City-Berlin and back in April, cheaper than mainline BA and a glass of red too. Lovely. And security at City isn't a zoo.

I don't mind the slimline Recaro seats that EasyJet and Jet2 use, I'm tall so the extra legroom is much better than the extra padding. There's noticeably more room on the EasyJets with the slimline seats compared to the older ones.

Oh right I'm with you. I was going other way, Glasgow to City. The food is ok but both times the sandwich has been rock hard.

I agree on the EastJet. Not comparable to E190 but still decent

Do BA still fly BAe 146s (RJ80s) out of City, - I used to fly to Madrid in those. A bit cramped, but very short take off and fairly quiet.
They retired those RJs 12 years ago.
