I'd definitely go for the Ffestiniog, as according to their website, there is no scheduled service on the Welsh Highland!

Tomorrow after a night well more like 3 hours in the travelodge booked for 9 quid in the sale it is the 05.32 to Shrewsbury the 08.24 to Llandudno Jn then 10.33 to Blaenau. Then Blaenau to Porthmadog. All trains permitting of course. Will post the rest and any interesting delays tomorrow.

05.32 cancelled due to fire at Chester but as I was sat on the train waiting for that decision until 06.00 when the decision was made they kindly gave me breakfast on the train anyway. Now on the 14.06 out of Porthmadog. I am staying in Wrexham tonight so just deciding where to go in the meamtime.
