Also GTR seem to have charged £150 admin fee here which is interesting. They seem to usually charge £50 admin fee for single incidents, but maybe the £150 here is due to the issuing of court papers? However as that’s due to their own backlog that doesn’t seem very fair. Little about this whole process is fair though.

Oh I thought it would be the cost on my court package plus the ticket price. On my court pack it says something like 135 for GTR fees and the ticket owed is 31.80. So I thought it would be these two together.

Oh interesting. Still, they’ve charged loads more because it got to this stage, which it wouldn’t have if not for their backlog. Certainly unfortunate, some would say unfair. I would.

£135 is a relatively standard costs amount for non-CPS prosecutors to claim on a case that goes to court and is dealt with on the first occasion. As a solicitor must be involved in authorising the charges.
