Maybe this isn't the right forum for this question but I don't really post on much social media!

I am looking for an action camera, like a GoPro.

The niche thing I need is it needs to be able to record continuously for 24 hours, ideally closer to 36 for a buffer.

The quality doesn't need to be especially high, it's more for evidential purposes than making high quality footage.

Having it attached to a power source is fine, as long as that power source can be mobile (e.g. a portable power bank).

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Continuous recording is possible on many action cameras but the files will usually be split into 30 minute files. Would this still meet your use case?

Yes the files can likely be split up as long as they can be put back together in a seemless fashion in a video editor. In reality, things like the weather conditions, the roads/properties being used/passed, etc will provide visual continuity, and multiple GPS devices (possibly including the camera itself) will provide location based record. It may also, potentially, be live-streamed, but this isn't a strict requirement.

I use Insta360 cameras, which have the benefit of being able to be plugged into external power sources while recording AND recording in 360 degrees. This is useful if you're documenting something on the move and forgot to point the camera at a certain thing, because in the edit you can simply change the angle.
