Dear all, I am planning to conduct a 'Pacer Day' whereby I intend to head up north from London and ride as many pacers as possible. Would the members of this forum be able to kindly point out which routes are pacer-operated, which ones are often operated by pacers and which ones are rarely, if ever, operated by Pacers?

If you go north you will find them more or less across the north of england but somebody more versed with Northern may help you in more detail.
If you go west you can go to Exeter and see GWR 143s, where all those out working would pass through Exeter St. Davids in just over 2 hours working to Barnstaple, Exmouth and Paignton.. Or you could go to South Wales and see TFWs 142s and 143s which will be predominantly in the Cardiff Valleys and they also work anywhere between Fishguard and Cheltenham, Maesteg and Ebbw Vale.
