A different approach to clearing obstacles on the line.

I’m not entirely sure which part of the forum to post this so please move if desired.
I found a selection of videos on YouTube of what appears to be a narrow gauge railway on a sugar cane plantation. They show how obstacles are dealt with in the most remarkable way. This one shows what happens when you find someone has tarmaced over a level crossing.

I think there is a dock branch at Kings Lynn that could do with that treatment, assuming the track is still hiding under the grass. I think Amlwch has an overgrown line too.

I posted another link on a different thread a few days ago. This showed how the same company dealt with lineside vegetation.

People often complain that Network Rail is weed infested and plagued with overhanging lineside vegetation and branches. Here’s an alternative way of dealing with these issues…..

I've seen some of them you tube videos very interesting, I think it's in java a lot of obstacles tarmac, vegetation etc some of the track is a bit rough as well.

Brilliant. I'd seen them before but they are still fun to watch, in a hair-raising sort of way. I love the "temporary" track repairs while the loco is effectively still running over the track. It's somewhere in Indonesia ("warung" is a roadside stall) - I think 86247 is probably right in it being Java.
