Does anybody what 150248 was up to today? After running to Reading from Bristol TM as 5Z12 it ran back to Bristol (reversing at Didcot NJ and the west curve), it later worked to St Phillips Marsh and then onto Westbury, all as a class 5.

Strange to see a 150/2 at Reading!

150/2's are being used for stanchion sighting for the forthcoming electrification. There was meant to be a run a couple of Sundays ago with a 150 going round Didcot and Oxford way but it was cancelled whilst me and a driver were scratching our heads as to what it was!

I think 150's are being used because Reading drivers sign the traction. The only other option would have been a HST and a Padd driver which would be quite a waste tbh.
