55022 Railtour - December 12th

Rail-Blue Charters has announced details of a tour using 55022 on one power unit on December 12th, taking the loco over some brand new Deltic track to Buxton via Peak Forest as well as over a few other unusual lines. For those who have been wanting the loco back on the main line, now's the time to out your money where your mouth (and keyboard!) is. The tour is limited load (7 coaches), hence the the quite high ticket price.

Yes it has, not enough bookings. No good running a fundraising tour if it's actually going to lose money, unfortunately.
