What's happening with the D9016 saga
Last I heard was that it is at Barrow Hill-stored
Is it heading for Long Marston?
Where are DRS getting the bogies from?
Any date for release from overhaul?
What freight will it be used for?

Just Class 37 bogies so no real trouble in getting some

I believe that at the end of the Deltics life some 37's got Deltic bogies-I remember 37009 was one of these.

Maybe DRS were the original purchaser of the bogies so won't need to acquire any more.

Where are DRS getting the bogies from? - The ones that 9016 are sat on at the moment
Any date for release from overhaul? - Again, only DRS and HNRC know
What freight will it be used for? - Railtours, DRS haven't said anything about it working freight, thats just platform end froth

Is it heading for Long Marston = It may have already moved there.
Where are DRS getting the bogies from = Standard CP7's which can be found under most class 37's (They got these in later life at the same time class 37's did.
Any date for release from overhaul = Due some time next year.
What freight will it be used for = Hardly any probably stock moves and saloon workings as it has the style and speed for the more luxury workings.
