From photos on Facebook does look like the 4TC and the Sarah Siddons loco are making their way back to Ruislip depot today, anyone with more info?

Correct, currently formed of 73213, 73141, 73128, Sarah Siddons, 4TC, 73109.

4 X 73 - Sarah was out on test yesterday afternoon between Eastleigh Works & Farnham in accompany with 73109 + Sarah + 73213.

Thanks, hopefully the refurbuished Sarah Siddons and the 4tc will start passenger trips on the Met line again, and maybe Sarah Siddons will feature on "secrets of the underground" TV show?

Although not authentic LU, the 4tc unit works well with Sarah Siddons, and also will still available for other heritage line galas and mainline tours. Good to see it worked push pull with 33111 this summer.

Until then I see the refurbished 38 stock train has been booked on a Heathrow loop tour August and Met line tour September.

The steam loco Met Railway 1/L44 is being overhauled, and then sometime in the future run with the Victorian carriages again.
Edit there is now a video on youtube of the test

It is planned to have the 1938 Stock and Sarah Siddons+4TC working Harrow-on-the-Hill-Watford/Amersham during the “Amersham Double Bill” weekend 7-8 September.

Public booking for Amersham 7-8/9 opened today but no mention of Sarah Siddons unfortunately. Any inside information gratefully appreciated as always. Thank you.

I think “planned” was somewhat optimistic wording - “hoped” would be more appropriate.

That hope is still there, but Sarah needs to undergo shakedown runs on the Met first, which have yet to happen.

It is worth noting that no finalised timetable for the runs has been issued internally yet also, although there will be a draft to enable bookings to be taken.

The link, for those so-interested: https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/whats-on...ings/heritage-train-journeys-amersham-special

Four Amersham-Watford trips each day, and then a one-way single journey from Amersham to Wembley Park, almost certainly via the Local Line due to ongoing challenges with running over the Main Lines during the Summer.

Many thanks. Your insight and knowledge is, as always, much appreciated.
