Hi all at Doncaster today I saw what looked to be a 465 being shunted about it was done coach by coach, bit far away from its home whats it doing up there?

Re-paint? looked to be in Southeastern without the SE branding

The Met-Camm built units (ie 465/2 and 465/9) sets are undergoing an overhaul programme at Wabtec.

Apparently I've heard from some where else that some of the networkers are getting the south eastern livery (i.e. blue doors instead of the yellow door connex one), but can't remember where i saw this from.

Yep, some pics of 465019 can be found here.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
the unit is (Ruston powered) 465906

The 465/9s AFAIK were going to be having a deep clean at Gillingham Depot ... however, it could be that SET have decided to have all the Networkers in the new livery ... or 906 needs some mechanical work done.

Only time will tell. :)

Also, what is "Ruston powered"? :-?

yeah it was being assembled bit by bit so may head back down south as a full set, the 08 doing the moves was the Wabtec one (08669).

Also at Doncaster was 2 CR 47s 828 & 813 without its nameplate
