I've been trying to work out what the 3rd kind of the 350 model is that being released this year. The first being the early unbranded grey/blue doors and the second the units in full LM livery. The 3rd is mentioned as being "Apollo" unit, what does this mean? Is it a name plate of some type?

IIRC, they had that livery (Grey with blue doors), because they were used by 2 operators (can't remember which) so had a livery that wasn't operator specific.

Central Trains and Silver Link :) There is the Neutral Livery, London Midland and London Midland with a Name plate 'Apollo'.

Good luck thinking it will be released this year...

The Apollo name was removed when they were repainted, they never carried names in LM livery. I think it should be released like this:
Class 350/2 London Midland livery
Class 350/1 London Midland livery (duel voltage)
Class 350/1 Neutral Livery 'Apollo' (grey body with blue doors and window surrounds).

There deffinately should be a daul voltage unit, to keep us 3rd rail modellers happy :)

The three models are

350102 in grey/blue livery
350115 Apollo unit
350238 in London Midland livery

So there is little difference between the 102 and 115 model then?

They would be the same apart from 350115 being named.
