Hey.

Does anybody know when 222104, when with FHT, was named Sir Terry Farrell?

I tried a search on fotopic of 222104 and came up with two photographs dated November 2005 featuring the nameplate, but not the ceremony. Fotopic does not go back too far beyond that period.

From wikipedia: First Hull trains introduced Class 222 Pioneer units, to replace its Class 170 Turbostars in May 2005.

Don't know when the naming happened either.

On a random side not, I was on 222104 not too long ago, and the first carriage door had been replaced by an orange EMT door. Which i found bizzare when all the others were still yellow...

The third train in Hull Train's new fleet of Class 222 Pioneers will be named after a visionary figure who has quite literally become the architect of a great part of Hull's future. Sir Terry Farrell was at a ceremony at London Kings Cross on Tuesday, September 6 to name the 'Pioneer' train in his honour.

Happens, occasionally you see doors which are still painted teal on the outside. Meridian doors are quite unreliable it would seem.

Apparently so. I thought I was on 222103 at first. But 222103 is better finished I found when I took it. You'd never know it'd fallen off the stands. Apart from a slightly worrying creek.

Same with voyagers, theres pictures of an XC 220 at York, with a Grey stripey VT quiet coach door, on a non - quiet coach
