hi there! this is my first post and i am new to BVE so am not so good on the subject :s! Anyway, can someone please help with the start-up of the game (i am currently running BVE 4) as when you click on your route, it says something like 'train is not found'. This is really annoying! I have installed pretty much every BVE4 train i can find, and have got quite a few routes, but cant use them because it wont load up!! Also, how do you exit the game without using ctrl+alt+del evry time?? Thanks in advance to whoever helps!!!!

Which routes are you trying to run? You may not be aware, but numerous BVE4 trains have been removed from download due to copywrite. (I can e-mail you them though - I think we agreed that that was OK)

You should be able to exit BVE using the red X in the top right hand corner, or if in full screen right clicking and selecting close.

HTH

P.S. You might also want to havea look at the BVE FAQ thread if you hvaen't already done so.

Bare in mind that if you have the Edinburgh-Aberdeen route installed, it is in the bve4 folder and not the mackoy folder, unless you have changed the destination yourself.
Therefore, you will need to do the same with your trains by copy+pasting them into the trains folder of the bve4 folder....in your Program Files folder of Drive C.

It is far easier than it sounds.
If you find yourself struggling, feel free to add me on MSN (if you have it) or just go to any other RUK member, including mbonwick. :)
