You can certainly see a situation where there's an ongoing production line of new trains, replacing the 1973, 1972, 1992 and then the 1996 and 1995 in that order, as by the time the 1992s are replaced, the 1996 trains will be struggling, certainly mechanically, with their dated electrical equipment.
