Hi all,

I'm planning a trip for another week today, as money's so tight this month I couldn't afford a trip today, which sucks However, one thing needs to be queried:

158960, is this still about? I haven't heard of it being out in use for ages, and it's my last GW 158 to get (I had finished them, before 960 and 961 were brought into being!). The trip I have in mind involves the opportunity to get it in the book, as well as 150216 and the 2 or 3 150/1s I need on FGW. 158884 may be gettable too, need to check that...

Before I make more firm plans, 158960 is one of the most core aims of the proposed trip so I need to find out if it's been reformed or whatever.

158884 was doing the Salisbury 6 yesterday.
The FGW 9s are all still running AFAIK.

158960 is still about! I last went on it on 14th April, where it worked the 1808 Taunton to Cardiff.

158960 is indeed about as a 3 - car. Spent most of yesterday on the Severn Beach branch and was on Taunton - Cardiffs the day before

158960 is on the 0723 (or whatever time it is this early) Porstmouth-Cardiff if you were looking for it today.
