A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
The rest was done on a Tyne and Tees Day Ranger, should have mentioned that. Would have been good to see if I could have done it all on the MBR-CAR return

Did you know that there is a very good picture of 142094 (the unit...not you) on WIKIMEDIA COMMONS, crossing the level crossing at Lincoln High Street in Lincoln in 2004 on a sunny day, on its way to Huddersfield.

The train from Beverley to Doncaster last Saturday was a Pacer. The person next to me said "This is much faster than the train I came down on"

I said "Perhaps it just feels faster" <D

It hit Goole Swing Bridge with a hell of a bang.

Was that a train starting at Beverley or did it come from Brid/Scarborough? Would have been a helluva day trip that on a 142.
