Looking at Article 16 it applies when arrival at destination is likely to be 60 or more minutes late, and going via Birmingham would mean a delay of 115 minutes getting into Euston, so I don't think that applies.

Yes am aware, so there now actually are 28 trams I think, it being 29 before the arson attack.
