Hi zippy. went last week. dots on paper which is just great when you're left handed !. Test must be conducted in silence but that don't apply to the builders crashing and banging about of any hyped up candidates grunting and puffing away. Passed easily at swt but failed this time:cry: Best luck...
Just to clear this one up, training is over a twelve week period but consists of the following
1st week in workplace where you will be based
9weeks residential at Leeds ( Watford not currently available)
2 weeks in shadowing at workplace.
So, 12 weeks training, 9 weeks reidential. Hope this...
Thanks for that. The job applied for entails 9 weeks at signal school to start with. I just assumed that one would start off at grade 1. So thats useful info
does anyone know how the signallers gradings work. I have been invited for an interview and realise that if offered the job would start as grade 1 which is very low salary. Was wondering how long it takes to move up the gradings and thus decent money.
Well thats nice. Southern have now decided that the vacancies are at Selhurst and Norwood. So thats me F***ed. Why on earth can't they say at the beginning.
Ifailed on this one last year. the only thing i could put down to was that i didnt use the phonetic alphabet, you know roger charlie bimbo bongo etc. Strange that with all other tests you are given practice materials but not this one. best of luck
Isaw an ad for an engineering driver. any one know if or how this is different from say a mainline or depot driver . is the training the same? what about assessment and interview process?
Hi, I failed the verbal com exercise and am not happy. with every test ur given practice materials to fully prepare yourself. but none given for that one. wasn't clear that it was a test that they would fail you on. was described as an exercise! can't see the point in giving me all the practice...
