    New to split ticketing - can anyone help please?

    I've been working on trying to split ticket a train fare for my to travel from Milton Keynes MKC to Torquay all afternoon, and am struggling to make it work....It seems the route through Birmingham is with less connections and a bit faster which I wold prefer. Are there any experts out there...
