Nothing here, have done any tests with any other TOC. Completed the original on line tests and why I wanted the position. Not given up, just put it to the back of my mind.

Received an e-mail last night just stating that due to present circumstances the recruitment process would be delayed. Hardly surprising in these unprecedented times.

I’ve just completed tests 2 and 3. Have to say I’m not over confident with the third test. No e-mail notification either way afterwards.

Wouldn’t that make the single test in itself, without any train driving experience or training not a good reflection of a candidate’s all round ability. Or is it mitigated by the shear volume of applicants LNER will no doubt receive for these position(s).
