Not enough Train Managers are trained on 507’s so the spares at Southport can’t be utilised unfortunately. A great day that we have two 507’s in service on one line. Doubt this will ever happen again.

Has anyone got any recent photos of the stations in development?

New Brighton isn’t locked up to my knowledge. The booking hall is, but the platforms can be accessed via a set of stairs on Victoria Road.

Why do they rush to swap them out? Surely it is easier to just keep it on til end of service. Seems so pointless to swap it out in the middle of the evening.

Cheshire West and Chester Council won’t pay for that.
